Coronavirus has acquired the appearance of a pandemic that is spreading across the territory of various countries. Belarus was no exception. Vitebsk became a city where the infection appeared at the initial stage of infection of the country's inhabitants. The first cases of infection were imported. The transfer is left at the gate, the medical worker picks it up and takes it to its destination. There are situations when patients are in the hospital with their whole families, and the products are transferred by acquaintances or distant relatives.
Quarantine measures in the city
In order to prevent the spread of the virus, the authorities are taking the following measures:
- Cancellation of all exhibitions, presentations, fairs and other public events.
- It is forbidden to conduct tastings and promotions at trade facilities.
- Store personnel must wear protective masks and gloves.
- In all places of mass congestion of visitors, install containers with a disinfectant solution.
- Daily inspection by the worker and temperature measurement before the crime to work.
- Entertainment establishments must be open until 23.00 or be closed altogether.
Some sources report that minibuses that depart from Vitebsk to the capital are not allowed into the city. Some flights between regions are cancelled. People are advised not to leave the house unless absolutely necessary. When visiting public places, wear gloves and a mask.
