The order of the Ministry of Health on coronavirus requires the creation of Federal remote advisory centers, which should specialize in the prevention and treatment of coronavirus in adults and children. NMIC specialists are recommended to conduct remote seminars and round-the-clock consultations for health workers in all regions of the country.

Organizational and methodological support is provided through the creation of mobile multidisciplinary teams. In order to support the decisions made by health workers, a call center was created.

Recommendations of the Ministry of Health on the prevention of coronavirus

The Ministry of Health has developed recommendations for the prevention of coronavirus, which are posted on the official website. In order to avoid infection with coronavirus, it is recommended:

  • Regular hand washing. The Ministry of Health recommends washing your hands regularly with soap - after coming from the street, work, shop, etc. The duration of the procedure should be at least 30 seconds. If it is not possible to wash your hands under water, then you need to use wet wipes or alcohol-based disinfectants.
  • It is forbidden to touch your face with your hands. The virus quickly enters the human body through the mucous membrane, so you should not bring your hands to your nose, eyes, mouth. When coughing and sneezing, it is recommended to cover your mouth with your elbow.
  • Avoid contact with large numbers of people. The Ministry of Health recommends avoiding unnecessary travel, as well as refusing to attend public events.
  • Refuse to travel. The Ministry of Health does not recommend traveling abroad. If a person has an urgent trip, then he must first learn about the epidemiological situation in the country. If it is stable and controlled by the state, then a short trip is allowed. If there are a large number of infected people in the state, then it is better to refuse travel.

People over the age of 60 are at risk of contracting the coronavirus. The Ministry of Health has developed preventive measures for them. Experts advise against visiting crowded places. It is better to entrust purchases to relatives and friends. When leaving the house, elderly citizens need to take disposable paper handkerchiefs with them, with which they need to cover their respiratory organs during sneezing and coughing.

If a person has signs of a cold and has previously been in contact with people who came from abroad, then he needs to seek medical help. In order not to infect strangers, you do not need to visit the medical center on your own. The Ministry of Health advises to call a doctor at home or call an ambulance. If there are signs of a cold in relatives and friends, it is recommended to reduce contact with them to zero until they fully recover. If the doctor diagnosed an acute respiratory viral disease or flu, then during treatment, you must strictly follow his recommendations.
