What is closed and what is open
Since March 12, 2020, quarantine has been announced in Dnipro schools, as well as in all other educational institutions of the city. At the moment, all schools have been transferred to distance learning until April 24, what will happen next has not yet been decided. For students in grade 11, a trial EIT will be posted on April 15 so that they can practice. The timing of the end of the school year depends on the timing of the end of the quarantine.
In addition to schools, all institutions of the city went into quarantine in Dnipro due to the coronavirus: cafes and restaurants (although some offer their customers home delivery of food), fitness clubs, cinemas, sports and entertainment facilities, cultural centers, etc. The exceptions are gas stations, pharmacies and shops, as well as hospitals and clinics.
Banks also continue to work, although significant changes have been made to their schedule, and their working hours have been reduced.
Many government agencies also significantly limited their work. For example, the Polish Visa Application Center has suspended the issuance of passports due to the quarantine in Dnipro.
All public transport of the city, except for the subway, continues to work. Although with restrictions: it is forbidden to transport more than 10 passengers in one vehicle, all passengers must have a mask and a special pass.
How long will quarantine last in Dnipro
At the moment, it is impossible to give an exact date when all restrictions will be lifted. At the moment, the quarantine has been extended until April 24. Authorities promise to review the terms of quarantine after Easter.
The Ministry of Health believes that in a week, the dynamics of the incidence will already show the result of the severe restrictions imposed on the territory of the country. If the number of COVID-19 cases detected daily declines, then quarantine measures may be relaxed in early May.
Restrictions will be lifted gradually. The authorities hope to lift all quarantine bans by the beginning of summer.
