The situation in Penza quarantined by coronavirus

As of April 23, 311 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Penza region. The spread of the disease required the introduction of quarantine in the Penza region.

If a person needs regular medical care, then the ion must have a certificate from a doctor and can go to a medical center. Volunteers and citizens of the region who care for pensioners can move around the city.

Quarantine in hospitals in Penza is that scheduled medical examinations have been cancelled. Visiting a medical institution is possible only after prior consultation with a doctor. Mass events - sports, cultural, educational, etc. - are prohibited in the region. Shopping centers that do not sell essential goods have suspended their activities. Theaters, cinemas, museums are closed. Tours are prohibited in the city. Children's entertainment centers are closed for quarantine.

Public catering organizations have stopped their work until the situation with the coronavirus stabilizes. Companies whose activities provided for the ability of a person to work at home have introduced a remote form of work. Public transport in the city is engaged in the transportation of working people who have documents confirming this fact.

Who keeps working?

Medical centers operate in the region, which in the current situation are the main link in ensuring the health and life of people. There are also organizations that provide a full life for people at home - the police, the gas service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, etc.

The work in the city and the region of shops that sell food and essential goods has been ensured. Pharmacy hours have not changed due to the coronavirus. The activity of filling stations was not suspended.

Will quarantine be extended in Penza?

If on April 14, the governor of the Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev, argued that there was no need to introduce quarantine in the region, today the situation has changed. The ruling elite say that with an increase in the number of coronavirus infections, quarantine in the city and region will be extended. Otherwise, the authorities will gradually relax the rules for observing self-isolation.

Coronavirus is a serious disease that spreads by airborne droplets and contact. Quarantine in Penza and other cities of the Russian Federation has been extended until April 30.
