Quarantine measures have also been imposed on the residents of Pskov. Until April 12, there are restrictive measures to combat coronovirus. The bans are spelled out in the decree of the head of the region, Mikhail Vedernikov. Until April 12, inclusive, residents are prohibited from gathering at events with more than 50 people. Under the ban are: sports, business and cultural and entertainment meetings.

Minors, together with their parents, are prohibited from going to cinemas and shopping and entertainment centers.

Residents of Pskov and those temporarily staying in the city are prohibited from leaving the borders of not only the Russian Federation, but also the region.

Citizens over 65 years of age must comply with the regime of self-isolation at the place of residence. If you need help in purchasing food and medicine, you can turn to volunteers.

Educational institutions

Initially, it was indicated in the order that school holidays would begin on March 23 and end only on April 12. From April 1, students will have to switch to distance learning. The Minister of Education specified that the necessary support would be provided.

Quarantine in schools and the suspension of the educational process have been introduced because the epidemiological threshold for morbidity has been exceeded in the city.

Currently, based on a presidential decree, distance learning in Pskov will last until the end of April. In the future, the issue of resuming educational activities will be decided based on the situation in the city.

Which enterprises and entrepreneurs are forced to suspend their activities

After the President's address on the introduction of special quarantine measures was issued, the head of the region issued a decree on the suspension of the activities of many enterprises and institutions. According to the order, they stop their work:

• night clubs;
• cinemas;
• children's playrooms and entertainment clubs;
• fitness centers and swimming pools;
• state and municipal sports and recreation organizations.

Also, until April 30, the activities of canteens, buffets and other catering outlets are prohibited. They are allowed to work for delivery. Quarantine is introduced in the Pskov regional hospital and dentistry. They are only allowed to see patients in emergencies.

In addition, the list of organizations that are not amenable to the presidential decree and continue their work has been expanded. It includes:

• organizations whose activities are related to architectural, design and engineering work;
• organizations that carry out work on the cadastral valuation of real estate and technical inventory;

• photo salons engaged in the production of photographs for documents;

These organizations must necessarily comply with the sanitary and anti-epidemiological requirements, which are prescribed by the decree of the governor.

The governor of the region signed a new decree concerning the restrictive measures of many organizations. However, the list of enterprises to which the decree does not apply has been significantly expanded. Such a list includes:

• state organizations of the employment service;
• construction companies;
• organizations for the maintenance and repair of vehicles;
• veterinary clinics.
• sports sections and other entertainment companies are still closed. 

How is the educational process in Pskov during the quarantine period

All activities that are planned in the educational process must be carried out remotely. This applies to absolutely all educational institutions, including correctional ones. Alexander Sedunov emphasized the postponement of the final exams - the Unified State Examination. Instead of the due date, the exam is scheduled to start on May 25 and end on June 29.

Quarantine in kindergartens is also in effect, but there are several duty groups for parents who are forced to go to work, and there is no one to leave their children with.

All-Russian verification work should also be carried out. Currently, they have already been brought to schools. And now each educational institution must decide how the process for their implementation will be built.
