Punishment for violators

On March 17, the Verkhovna Rada approved a “coronavirus” law providing for fines for individuals, entrepreneurs, and officials. Additional restrictions have been considered.

The law provides for administrative liability for non-compliance with quarantine measures, sanitary and hygienic rules, and ignoring government decrees in matters of combating the disease. The fine for individuals is UAH 17,000-34,000, for officials and individual entrepreneurs, UAH 34,000-170,000.

If the points are violated and the infection spreads further, the amount of the fine for the violator increases. In some situations, criminal liability is provided for up to 8 years.

In Ukraine, fines will be introduced for non-compliance with self-isolation points. These include:

  1. Ignoring the point about the constant wearing of a special protective mask;
  2. Exit to the street without the need. This includes access to any public place or street;
  3. Walk around the city without documents;

How long will quarantine last in Zaporozhye

Probably by the end of April. The head of the city spoke and said that by the end of April the dynamics of the disease would decrease, quarantine measures would be gradually weakened. Here we mean some changes in the mode of operation of public transport and the fact that the inhabitants of the country can go to work.

However, most of the bans will remain in effect until the end of April. Bans on street visits and mass gatherings will come into force. Everyone, without exception, will be required to wear masks, comply with the laws of quarantine measures.

For the elderly and students, quarantine measures will be extended.

Unfortunately, the government of Ukraine will not be able to establish quarantine in the country, lasting 2 or more months. The country and enterprises do not have impressive resources for such a long stop. With a decrease in the growth of the incidence and the number of infected, quarantine measures will be relaxed.
