The press service reported that on March 11, the work of the “hot line” on questions about the coronavirus was activated in the Voronezh region. The call center was formed in the building of the Department of Health. The staff recruited employees working in the city's hospitals, with higher and secondary medical education.
In what cases should you immediately consult a doctor:
- First of all, quarantine applies to those who have recently been in countries or regions with recorded cases of infection.
- Citizens who have a sore throat, cough, high temperature should call a doctor to their home.

The incubation period of the infection is about two weeks. After 10 days, tests are collected from the hospitalized to prevent the risk of developing the disease. Another German citizen, who was visiting relatives, asked if she would be quarantined. The call center operators emphasized that isolation cannot be avoided in these cases. A person who does not leave the region, but with obvious signs of SARS, should call a doctor so as not to endanger others.
I received a call from a girl who returned from Italy without any health complaints. She asked if she should go to the clinic. We reported this to Rospotrebnadzor. A few hours later, doctors in overalls took her out of the house and isolated her for 2 weeks.
