The situation in Krasnogorsk is gradually deteriorating: new cases of the disease and tightening of the regime of self-isolation

The most relevant topic for discussion today is the coronavirus pandemic, which captures more and more countries. Throughout the Moscow region, in particular in the Krasnogorsk district, a regime of self-isolation has long been in effect. Unnecessarily, it is not recommended to leave the house. Exceptions are allowed for walking dogs, going to work, or going to the nearest grocery store or pharmacy.

Are there any cases of coronavirus in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region

According to the latest data, as of April 9 this year, the number of infected increased by 40, while a record 11 cases of coronavirus confirmation were reached per day. Although the day before it was possible to talk about only 29 people with a positive result.

It is noted that in the entire Moscow region there are 199 infected over the past day. In the entire region, there are already 748 infected people who need to be isolated. According to statistics, 13 patients died and 66 were discharged from hospitals with a marked improvement in their condition.

How long will the quarantine last

In Krasnogorsk, the administration has taken all necessary measures to stop the spread of a new type of coronavirus with SARS. On March 16, mass events with more than 50 people were banned. Now it is recommended to completely avoid mass gatherings of people and switch to self-isolation mode.

The administration has introduced a system of fines for violating quarantine, in particular for those who have returned from abroad and countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation. The amount of the fine depends on the severity of the crime, especially if careless actions led to the infection and death of another person. As a punishment for violating self-isolation, a fine of 4,000 to 5,000 rubles can be imposed, as well as placement under strict supervision in a hospital setting.

Citizens over the age of 65, as well as people with chronic respiratory diseases, are not recommended to leave their homes and adhere to the self-isolation regime.

Behavior and compliance with the rules established during the quarantine will be monitored by the relevant law enforcement agencies.

For special neglect of the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles was introduced for an individual and up to 1 million for a legal entity.

It is not yet possible to say exactly how long the quarantine will last. Presumably, this regime will last until the end of April, only if there is no deterioration in the situation. According to the latest data, the next two to three weeks will be decisive, following which it will be decided to reduce or extend the quarantine period.

The situation in the city

Now in the entire Moscow region there is a strict quarantine and self-isolation regime, in which people are forbidden to leave residential buildings. Exceptions are going to work, only to those who are allowed, going to grocery stores and pharmacies, as well as taking out the garbage and walking dogs.

During the quarantine, mass cultural events throughout the city district were strictly prohibited. For violation of the established rules for citizens of the Moscow region, a system of fines and criminal penalties has been introduced.

As for education, all educational institutions were first closed for a week-long vacation, and now they have been transferred to distance learning. This applies to schools, secondary vocational educational institutions, colleges, and universities. Speaking of the latter, university administrations strongly advised non-resident students to return home indefinitely to continue their studies remotely, and university staff were prohibited from leaving the country for the next few months. The first universities to close were such large institutions as Moscow State University, MGIMO, MAI and other universities.

It is also reported that in Krasnogorsk, in order to ensure the safety of the health of residents, at all urban landing sites of bus stops located along regional roads, they applied “social” markings on maintaining a safe distance. Such markings have already appeared at 900 stops, and it is planned to hold similar events at more than 4.5 thousand of the entire Moscow region.

In addition, residents are advised to keep a strict distance of about one and a half or two meters.

Self-isolation measures were taken to stop the spread of coronavirus in the region. The approximate deadline for the end of quarantine is May 1, but the situation may suddenly change for the worse.
