All patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been hospitalized and are being treated. Contact with them is not allowed. The Infectious Diseases Department does not accept visitors.

About 30 residents of Lipetsk are under the supervision of doctors, the results of tests are expected.

Decree of the head of administration of the Lipetsk region on coronavirus

In connection with the revealed cases of diseases, the head of the region appealed to the residents with instructions not to leave the boundaries of the house and the region.

The adopted resolution refers to the tightening of the previously introduced quarantine. As a result, in the city and region:

  1. Mass events, including sports, were banned until April 14th.
  2. Shopping centers, entertainment centers, cultural parks and other recreation areas were closed.
  3. Closed discos, nightclubs, bars.
  4. They introduced a ban on smoking hookahs.
  5. The registration and admission of citizens to state institutions for the provision of services has been suspended.
  6. Temporarily stopped to exercise in medical institutions prof. examinations, medical examinations, planned hospitalization.
  7. Public catering facilities, including bars, have stopped working.
  8. Markets are closed, fairs are cancelled.

The decree of the head of the administration, in addition to the listed prohibitions, also contains mandatory instructions for all residents of the region:

  1. Drivers and conductors (also taxi drivers) are required to go to work only in masks.
  2. Citizens who have been in contact with infected people or have returned from countries where the virus is spreading should immediately inform medical workers or call the Rospotrebnadzor hotline.
  3. Individuals experiencing cold symptoms or other symptoms characteristic of the coronavirus should call a doctor at home. You do not need to visit a medical facility.
  4. Residents returning from source countries of the infection must observe the self-isolation regime for 14 days.
  5. Residents over the age of 65 are advised not to leave their homes.

Important! Managers were instructed to convey to employees the importance of preventive action. Control over execution was entrusted to the local police department and volunteers.

The holiday week declared by the President also served as a pretext for tightening measures. The area has been placed under total lockdown. End date information is not known.

Where is coronavirus treated in the Lipetsk region

Patients infected with coronavirus are placed in the regional city hospital. More than 50 beds have been organized. The head noted that, if necessary, additional beds will be deployed.

The infected are kept in separate boxes. Contact with them is prohibited. Only medical workers are allowed to enter the wards.

The staff of the infectious disease department, in which the infected are located, wear a special protective suit and a respirator. Measures should protect doctors from infection.

The chief physician specified that the infectious diseases department is divided into 2 zones. Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 stay in one part, and patients with other diseases are admitted in the other zone.

Coronavirus prevention measures in the Lipetsk region

In the Lipetsk region, the coronavirus has become a reason for organizing preventive measures. Information about the necessary actions was disseminated among the population. Volunteers played a huge role in disseminating information.

Residents received leaflets with instructions on how to behave during quarantine. So, residents of Lipsk must keep a distance of 2 meters between themselves, being in public places.

All citizens are advised to wear protective masks. Note that there is a problem with them in the region. Protective equipment disappeared from the shelves of pharmacies instantly. Residents of Lippy are forced to sew masks on their own.

Entrances and the territory of public places are disinfected.

All residents are ordered to stay at home and not go out unless necessary.

Patrols may be asked to show a special pass that gives the right to be on the street. Documents are not issued to everyone. The pass is received by persons who are forced to attend work during quarantine and some other categories of persons.

 Entrances and exits from the area are controlled by traffic police posts. So, on the border with the Oryol region, an additional checkpoint has been equipped.

Important! Drivers must explain what makes them leave or enter the area. If the patrol officers consider the reason disrespectful, the transport is turned back.

Residents are being warned about the need to stay at home, not only in Lipetsk. So, cars with volunteers urging citizens to observe the self-isolation regime were seen in the Dobrovsky district, the village of Dobroe, Lipetsk region. We remind you that only compliance with safety measures will help to cope with the coronavirus epidemic and stop the spread of infection.
