Is there anyone infected with coronavirus in the Krasnodar Territory

Coronavius in the Krasnodar Territory has been recorded so far in one person. So far, this is a single case of COVID-19. The patient is a man, he is 60 years old, he lives in Primorsko-Akhtarsk. He ended up in a medical institution with symptoms of SARS. The final diagnosis - the presence of coronavirus in the blood - was made on March 12, 2020.

All people in contact with him and his wife were tested for COVID-19, but none of them were diagnosed with the disease. Feeling that he was getting sick, the man went to the country.

No other cases of the disease were recorded in the city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

In Krasnodar, the coronavirus in the city itself has not yet been detected anywhere either. Although in urban medical institutions all actions and activities were carried out to detect it.

By itself, this disease resembles the flu or a cold. Its symptoms are similar to those of the common cold. These are signs such as:

  • cough, perspiration, burning, sore throat;
  • difficulty breathing;
  • heat;
  • inflammatory process;
  • fatigue, constant feeling of fatigue.

If these symptoms appear, you need to remember whether the person was in China or Korea, whether he had contact with people who arrived from there.

The disease has an incubation period of up to 14 and in some cases up to 27 days.

 How does an infected person feel now?

Now a man who contracted coronavirus in Krasnodar is on the mend. According to Sergei Zotov, head physician of the Krasnodar Specialized Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the man had a moderate illness that was not complicated by pneumonia.

The results of the latest tests will be known soon, the doctors hope that they will confirm the complete recovery of the patient.

Region on high alert

So far, the only case of coronavirus in Krasnodar. But despite this, a high alert regime has been introduced in the region. It was introduced by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev on March 15, 2020 to prevent the spread of a dangerous disease.

The following necessary measures have been taken:

  • passage by passengers arriving at the airport from abroad, enhanced screening and medical control, being in quarantine.
  • cancellation of all festive and entertainment events in order to prevent mass gatherings of people.
  • since March 18, free attendance of classes has been established in some universities, schools, kindergartens;
  • preparation of boxes for the possible reception of patients on the basis of children's and adult medical institutions.

Based on this, it can be said that even if there may not be a single coronavirus infected in the Krasnodar Territory soon, the authorities of the region still took all actions in advance to quickly resolve the situation of a possible outbreak of the disease.

Where to go to get tested for coronavirus

People without symptoms of the disease will not be able to independently be examined for coronavirus, since there are only 3 laboratories in Russia that can determine its presence in the human body using analyzes and tests. But the final conclusion: whether a person is infected or not, can only be given after a second check by the Novosibirsk clinic of virology "Vector".

Important! An analysis for coronavirus in Krasnodar, as in other Russian regions, can be passed in the following cases:

  • only with the direction of a doctor;
  • a referral is issued after a doctor examines the patient at home, if a disease is suspected;
  • the direction is issued when a person has a high temperature and inflammatory processes;
  • priority in the survey is given to people who arrived from abroad within the last 15 days;
  • It is not yet possible to be tested for COVID-19 on your own, since neither private nor public medical institutions provide such services.

If symptoms of the disease appear, you should contact your place of residence using the hotline numbers of Rospotrebnadzor, Roszdravnadzor, and a general practitioner. To do this, it would be right to call him at home, and not go to the clinic to infect others or even more himself.

 To determine whether a person is sick with a virus or not, he is taken to an infectious diseases hospital, where a swab is taken from his nasopharynx and sent to a laboratory. In it, a smear is checked for several hours. In some cases up to 2 days. Then the result for re-checking is sent to the Novosibirsk center of virology "Vector", where they give a final assessment of the person's condition. Until the final result is obtained, the sick person is in the infectious diseases hospital.

Now in many countries of the world, citizens who arrived from China, Korea, and Italy have been identified and hospitalized.

Although no country has yet invented a vaccine and medicines for the treatment of coronavirus, in Russia, patients are successfully cured of this disease that is rapidly spreading around the world.
